“Our tour guide Rudi was absolutely brilliant and took us in a food cultural tour of all things Mauritius! He was really friendly and told us so much about the country and it's people and the influence on its food. We went to food sellers that we probably would have been way too wary of trying and had some very good food.. The only problem was we needed bigger stomachs as there was so much food to eat... You really need to come hungry for this tour as its such great food so skip dinner the night before and skip breakfast and enjoy every mouthful. Really enjoyed seeing the fish…”

“Adrian was a great guide telling us about Grand Baie and food in Mauritius. Food we tested was amazing. However there weren’t that many food stops only four which considering the price of the tour per person is quite little. As there isn’t much to see in Grand Baie thought this would have focused more on food. I would have hoped we would have tried out more street food in Grand baie. The food we did taste were amazing so in this case quality went over quantity.”
